MOWGLI. Production art 2

These rough animation's drawings were done by Vladimir Zarubin. He was responsible for Mowgli's animation in the quiet or lyrical scenes.






And here you can see the original production cel combined with background drawing.


The same cel in close-up. The brush strokes are visible very clearly.

Great stuff...I love this site. Russian Impressionism has had a big influence on my paintings. I can see animation having the same effect.

I think that it is a great blog, I have not known how the people are drawing the catoons, I think that it is so interesting and easy to make.I want more information about that cartoon.
