Winnie-the-Pooh. Russian version

The own screen version of adventures of Winnie-the-Pooh has been created in USSR practically simultaneously with Disney. Though it was totally illegal, nobody cared about it. The three films was done: WINNIE-THE-POOH (1969), WINNIE-THE-POOH GOES ON A VISIT (1971) and WINNIE-THE-POOH AND THE DAY OF CARES (1972). The shorts was directed by great Feodor Khitruk. Vladimir Zuikov and Eduard Nazarov acted as art directors.
Since the Soviet version is not so known abroad we thought that it will be nice to put online some shots. Probably you perfectly know this plot about how Pooh (for short) has got in desperate position. As you can see there was no Christopher Robin and character of Winnie-the-Pooh was a very serious. One may think that Pooh understand very well that he is not very smart but he tried to reconcile to it. Just look at how he preserves, cares and protect Piglet.

I have seen this before, but not translated. All I remember was that in Russian, the voices are sooooo cute. I had no idea what they were saying, but the voices were really fantastic.
It's just a really cute animation.

Thanks for responses!
Yes it was totally different from Disney version. And animation was very well done and funny! Please notice that Soviet Pooh did not have neck therefore he has to move very funny! As to backgrounds one can notice that there is some return prospect in the shots. For example, the back part of the table is obviously wider than a part right ahead us.

Hi Sandra Khoo!
You will find the first cartoon of Russian WINNIE-THE-POOH's trilogy here.
first part of archive
second part of archive

The AVI file is in RAR archive which is split in two parts. You have to download both parts of the archive before you will unrar it! Unfortunately the level of sound is very low (so please increase the volume of your sound system!) but picture quality is fine!

Hope you'll like our Pooh!
Happy New Year!

well, this is amazingly beautiful, and full of poetry.
I'm drawing Winnie the pooh at work, I've been drawing him for some 8 years, but never came across this. Is it possible to get the movies somewhere?

I like more the art-style of the soviet version of Pooh, because it doesn't look like it is a stupid bear like Winnie the pooh does.
